2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cage-free eggs, separated
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cups chopped green onions
2 heaping tablespoons chopped fresh dill
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3 tablespoons each of canola oil & melted butter - for brushing on the griddle (or nonstick pan)
For topping:
1 cup creme fraiche
1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
4 to 5 ounces smoked salmon
8 to 10 dill sprigs for garnish
